CHRISTMAS Tree Festival: This weekend, from 11am-4pm, at St Mary’s Church, with craft stalls on Saturday, and culminating at 5pm on Sunday, with the Parish Carol Service.
The theme of ‘Angels from the Realms of Glory’ had myriad interpretations and it is delightful to see the brightly lit trees shining in an otherwise darkened church.
A special thank you to all the sponsors and local businesses who so generously donated raffle prizes to help raise money for the life of our church.
Also, a hearty ‘well done’ to Chris, Phil and Steve for organising this very special event.
CHRISTMAS services: St Mary’s, Christmas Eve – crib services at 3pm and 4.30pm and Midnight Mass at 11.30pm. Christmas Day, 8am Holy Communion and 10am Family Eucharist.
METHODIST Church: December 22 – carol service is at 10.30am. Christmas Day – Christmas Morning Worship at 10.15am.
BOXING Day walk: To shift some Christmas podge, meet at 11am, with Tony Stoney, from the village hall.
