BEER tasting: Pete says: “Sherfield Village Brewery Beer tasting was well-attended with plenty of sales. The brewery received a certificate from CAMRA for runner-up at Basingstoke Octoberfest.”

CAROLS: Last Saturday, the Friends of Sherfield Village Hall welcomed SingBramley Community Choir to lead an enthusiastic audience in a Sing-Along-a-Christmas. Directed by Dorian Edwards, the programme was a wonderful mixture – traditional carols and more unusual carols. Proceeds from the concert will be shared between RadCan and Sherfield Village Hall.
NWR party: Gill says: “We sat down at lovely festively decorated tables and enjoyed eating and chatting. Afterwards, we read extracts from books with a Christmas theme. We then did a quiz, identifying photos of characters from old television programmes from the 1970s and 1980s. A good evening was had by all.”
FAMILY Carol Service: At St Leonard’s Church, on Sunday at 10am, and at 4.30pm there’s a Natvity Service – all are welcome.
