TODDLER group organisers: Brookvale Toddler Group has been run successfully by volunteers, but they now need to step down and Brookvale Community Association has the hard but happy job of finding a new team as good as them!
The sessions run at Brookvale Village Hall on Mondays, from 10am to 11.30am in term time, with set-up from 9.30am, and things are usually cleared away by noon.
Ideally, the group needs two or three people – enough to cover for holidays. It would be good if people have teaching or nursing experience. The group will arrange any training needed, e.g. first aid. Please contact the group via info@brookvale.org.uk if you are interested.
ADVANCE notice: Basingstoke Civil Service Retirement Fellowship, which meets at Brookvale Village Hall, has its annual general meeting on March 5. Nominations from members for the committee and officers need to be sent to the fellowship’s secretary, Tony Brazier, by January 31 – email bjmapbr@ntlworld.com.
