THE Maidenthorne Singers: Will be singing at the Nine Lessons and Carols in All Saints Church on Sunday, December 22, at 4pm.
Sadly, Joe Paxton will not be leading the group after the New Year, so if there are any budding or experienced musical directors available, please ring the above number.
The Maidenthorne Singers are a very experienced group who sing a variety of music from early English and Latin through to musicals of the 20th century.
THE Christmas Box for the Salvation Army: Is now available in the church porch. Please ensure your small treats are there by December 22.
The goods will be taken to the housebound on Christmas Day and also to those attending the Salvation Army Christmas dinner.
AGM: An excellent annual general meeting of Dummer Village Hall was recently held with new members of the community offering ideas.
This was encouraging to the present committee and further suggestions are welcome as to the update of the village hall.
