TEA at 3: There was a wonderful result from the “Tea at 3” event hosted by Becky, Rita and Jeanette at The Old School on July 30.
On that lovely sunny afternoon, so many family and friends gathered for tea and home-made cakes, and £1,000 was raised for St Michael’s Hospice. Thank you to all who came.
AWARDS to Bramley Voluntary Care Group: On July 30, three volunteers received Long Service Awards from Good Neighbour Support Service.
These were presented by coordinator Mary Mitchell at the Good Neighbours Summer Party at Old Alresford Place, Alresford.
Jenny Edwards received a certificate for five years of service, and Pat Jones and Phyl Davies received a certificate for 15 years’ service. They were thanked for their unique contribution as volunteers over many years.
EVENTS at The Vyne: “Unravelling the Vyne” is open for all visitors to see old secrets and new sculptures set in the surroundings of the old house.
Outdoor activities are there in plenty. Watch out for tree climbing in the woods.
