CHURCH teas: Saturday and Sunday, in the church, from 2pm to 5pm. Throughout August for Mercy Ships and our bell fund.
TALENTS Weekend: September 7 and 8, in the church. Ring Nancy to get details.
Saturday from 10am, tea and biscuits, ploughman’s lunches at noon, and afternoon teas.
On Sunday, September 8, there is a Patronal Service at 10am, and you can see the exhibits from noon to about 5pm, when we close down. Entry free, with donations for food and the exhibition.
RIDE and Stride: Saturday, September 14, when the church will be visited, together with others in the county, to celebrate the Heritage Weekend.
BEER Festival: September 14, in the village hall. Tickets £11, include two drinks, light supper and a half-pint tankard. Contact the Calleva Arms and Jays Stores in Pamber Heath for tickets (over 18s). Doors open 4pm. Cider and wine also on sale.
PHOENIX Club: Will host Professor Ian Rowland, from Reading University, who will speak on “Food for a Long and Healthy Life”, on Wednesday, September 4, at 2pm, in the Club Room.
