CAR Boot Sale at Asda car park: On Easter Sunday, March 31, there will be a car boot sale at Asda car park from noon to 3pm, to raise money for the Tickled Pink Breast Cancer charity.
There will be a charge of £5 for cars and £8 for vans. For further information, ask Julie – Asda’s community champion – within the store.
GOOD Friday Walk of Witness: Advance notice that on Good Friday, the congregations of the Church of Christ the King and the Baptist Church, in Gershwin Road, will join together for the walk of witness. This year, the walk starts off at the Baptist Church at 11.30am and then proceeds to the Church of Christ the King, in Sullivan Road.
BAGS2SCHOOL Collection: Many thanks to everyone who donated their unwanted items to the Church of Christ the King’s BAGS2SCHOOL collection.
A total of £78.50 was raised for the church’s Sunday School funds.
