MILLENNIUM Village Hall AGM: On Tuesday, from 8pm, the Cliddesden Millennium Village Hall AGM will be held in the obvious venue. Make your views heard, hear what is going on and what is planned, and maybe even get involved. The meeting is also an opportunity to bid farewell and thanks to Alison Bushby (secretary) and Tom Mansbridge (treasurer).
HORTICULTURAL Society: Meets next Wednesday, at Ellisfield, at 7.45pm, when Sally Burr will give a lecture on "Growing and Exhibiting Cut Flowers". And don’t forget that schedules for the Spring Show at Cliddesden on April 6 are now available from committee members.
RETIREMENT: Merv, the milkman, is retiring at the end of the month. Thank you, Merv, for the many years (several decades, indeed) of tireless, reliable service. In the snowy weather, when none of us could get out and none of the supermarkets could deliver, there you were. We’ll miss you!
