FARLEIGH Club update: The final amount raised by the Tea Party was more than £260 – thanks to all involved. The money raised will be shared between The Alzheimer’s Society and club funds.
FUTURE events at the Farleigh Club: On Easter Saturday, the fun club features a musical quiz and bingo, starting at 8pm, and on April 6, there will be an ’80s night – fancy dress optional.
ELLISFIELD Memorial Hall events: March 26, at 7.30pm, Douglas Paterson, the chairman of Keep Hampshire Green, will hold a meeting in the Memorial Hall for residents of Ellisfield and surrounding villages to hear why wind farms such as planned at Bullington Cross should be opposed.
Wednesday, March 27, at 7.45pm, Horticultural Society meeting – a talk by Sally Burr, entitled "Growing and Exhibiting Cut Flowers".
Tuesday, April 9, at 8pm, a talk and demonstration for Ellisfield Ladies by Cathy Clarke, of the Dummer Garden Centre, on planting up baskets and tubs for the summer.
