BOTTLE banks: Due to the recent implementation of kerbside glass collections the council is proposing to remove many local bottle banks. They intend to remove the banks at Beggarwood shops and Hatch Warren Community Centre. If you are a regular user of either of these bins and would like to make a request for them to be retained, please contact me by email at cllr.terri.reid@hants.gov.uk and I will pass on your views.
GOODBYE and congratulations: It's goodbye and thank you to Kim, who has left her post as manager of Hatch Warren Community Centre after a number of years serving the estate of Hatch Warren and Beggarwood. Congratulations to Clare, previously her assistant, who now takes over as centre manager.
PALM Sunday: This coming Sunday, worshippers at Immanuel Church will celebrate the coming of Easter with a Palm Sunday service at 10am. Services are held in the Church Rooms at St Mark's School, Danebury Road.
BLOOD Donations: The next blood donor session at the community centre is on March 28. For further details please see blood.co.uk.
