MONK Sherborne and District Horticultural Show (on August 3): Announces the children’s Spud in a Bucket competition.
Potatoes for entries can be collected during March free of charge from Mr and Mrs Roberts, at Spriggs Meade, Monk Sherborne, or contact Kim Fleming on kimf790@gmail.com.
HEATH End WI: Meets at Heath End Village Hall on Monday at 7.30pm. The talk will be given by Trisha Lewis, entitled What would Jane do? a modern twist on how Jane Austen would cope in today’s world. Visitors £3, WI members free.
TUESDAY Club: Meets on March 19, from 2pm to 4pm, at Heath End Village Hall, for a friendly get-together with tea and cakes. All welcome, and transport can be arranged, ring Roz on 0118 9815246 or Margaret on 0118 9819067.
