FRIENDS of Loddon Vale Parks, our local conservation group: Is due to extend the wild plant area in Victory Park this coming Sunday.
Bring gloves and trowels and meet at the playground at 2pm. Check the Brookvale Heart of Basingstoke Facebook page the night before to check for any changes due to weather etc.
BASINGSTOKE Heritage Society: Is holding its annual meeting at Church Cottage, in Church Street, on Tuesday, April 16. It will include an illustrated talk by John Holmes, using photos his father took of local streets as they looked just before the bulldozers moved in. Free to members, £2 at the door, and all welcome.
