GREENING Chineham: Is entering a new phase and is in need of help from the community. The Gazette has launched a campaign to make Basingstoke the green capital of Hampshire by 2020.
There are many local groups working hard on a volunteer basis to make this happen and Greening Chineham is looking to play its part, but it needs more volunteers to help.
It needs to know what the community would like to see happening in this campaign, residents’ ideas and their expertise from all walks of life. If you can spare time to help, please email greeningchineham@hotmail.co.uk.
DISCOVER Laughter: Stand-up comedy with Andy Kind will be at Christ Church this Saturday, from 8pm.
Admission is £10, which includes soft drinks and nibbles; bring your own beer or wine.
