PROPOSED new development: An exhibition was held last week at Old Down Hall by developers Country and Metropolitan Homes for a potential development at the old Kempshott Industrial Park, between Beggarwood and the golf course. The proposal was for 69 houses and four flats with access through Longwood Copse Lane. The developers stated their intention to go ahead with an application for planning permission to be submitted next month. This area was originally designated by borough council planners purely for employment.
OLD-FASHIONED pub night: The community centre is planning a new event for next month, an old fashioned pub night. The evening will feature pub games, low priced drinks and a family room enabling children to attend until 9pm. The event is scheduled for April 20. For details, call the community office on 01256 811262.
WE Will Rock You: Brighton Hill Community School will perform We Will Rock You later this month. Tickets are available now for performances on March 21- 23. See the following link for information: brightonhill.hants.sch.uk
