CLEAN up Oakley: On Saturday, why not help clean up Oakley ready for the Spring? Meet at the school lay-by at 2pm, and join in for as long as you can. Litter pickers and sacks will be provided but please wear gloves. Finish time will be 4pm.
Accompanied children are very welcome. Dress up as Superheroes to win a best dressed prize. Refreshments will be provided by Oakley Community Church.
MOBILE library: The mobile library will be in Kennet Way on Monday, from 2pm to 4pm, and again on Wednesday, in Petersfield, from 11.40am to 12.20pm.
GOOD Friday Prayer Walk: All the churches are joining together on Friday, March 29, to walk through Oakley.
Starting at 10am at the junction of Oakley Lane and Pack Lane, along Pack Lane into Hunter’s Close, Tollgate Close and Lightsfield, stopping for prayers at intervals.
Concluding at Oakley Village Hall, Andover Road, at 11.15am, there will be a time of prayer, followed by refreshments.
Everyone is welcome to join at any point on the walk or at the village hall.
