RIPARIAN interests? The Whitewater Valley Preservation Society will be holding its annual meeting today, in the village hall, at 7pm. The society is dedicated to safeguarding the wildlife and integrity of the River Whitewater, which passes through the parish and gives its name to our school. If you would like to find out about their conservation work and what ‘riparian’ means, ring chairman Sally Bullen on 01252 850592 and come along!
THE Scouts Jumble Sale: Is this Saturday, at 2pm!
So get sorting through those cupboards and wardrobes, clear out some space and bring your unwanted items to the village hall between 10.30am and noon.
Anything and everything in reasonable condition accepted. Ring Sue and Richard Whistler on 763118 to arrange collection of larger items.
HAPPY Feet: Year 6 hoofers at Whitewater School travelled to Aldershot yesterday, to strut their stuff in the Schools Dance Competition.
