YOGA: Abfab Yoga is delighted to announce a second workshop on Saturday, May 18, at Sherfield Park Community Centre and not on May 11, in the Liddell Hall, as advised last week.
Jacqui Morris says: “The workshop will run from 2pm-4pm, and is called Salutations to the Moon. The fee is £15 and an application form and details are at abfabyoga.com.”
LODDON Players: Are well into rehearsal for their spring production and tickets will soon be on sale. Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling is set in a beauty salon in Louisiana in 1989. With a cast of six women, there are Loddon regulars and some newcomers. Keep an eye out for ticket details at loddon playersatsherfield.co.uk.
NWR: Met yesterday, and the meeting was called Amazing Women. Valerie says: “Last year, we talked about women, past and present, who had faced challenges in their lives. This year, we are talking about women who are still alive who have made a difference in some way, for example to the world, to the lives of women, or to their community.”
