PALM Sunday Walk and service to the amphitheatre: Takes place on March 24, and will be led by the Bishop of Winchester.
Tadley Band will play, and Alfie, the donkey, is in training for his walk, various wellies are ready.
We hope for a fine day and some drier weather to come as the amphitheatre and along the Drove are very muddy and with large puddles.
LENT Lunch: Next Sunday, there are still just a few places left, so ring me if you wish to come along.
VILLAGE Hall: On Palm Sunday, after the walk and service, why not come along to the village hall from 1pm to 2.30pm, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt (£3), Easter Bonnet Parade (£2), and a “Jesus Garden” Competition (£2) or £10 for two children. Tea and coffee available. Proceeds to the hall development.
SPRING walk: If you get your Gazette early today, why not join the Hants Wildlife Trust for a Silchester walk from 10am to 1pm, five miles in all.
Meet at the car park in Wall Lane. Sturdy boots needed, and the suggested donation is £2.
