WOMEN'S World Day of Prayer: Tomorrow, at 10.30am, in St Mary's Church.
HELP for Heroes: Please support John Clements, manager of Olivers fish and chip shop, as he prepares for his third sponsored walk, this time from Kathmandu to Everest base camp and then to the summit of Kala Pattar. Phone 07914 676426 for sponsorship forms.
CARNIVAL News: The popular princess/prince selection disco swings into action from 4pm-6pm on March 15, at the RBL Hall. (More details in the March Basinga). At the other end of the age spectrum, more than 80 seniors enjoyed a lively luncheon in the village hall last week. Well done to the carnival committee for their hard work.
OBAGS garden shop: Opens every Sunday in March, from 10.30am to noon, at the Riley Lane Allotments.
PARISH Council: Meets on March 6, at 7.30pm in the Pavilion Committee Room.
