52 SKIDOO, three-piece 1920s Harlem swing band: Visits the village hall on Saturday, March 9. American-Italian style pizza and salads will be served.
Natalie says: “This has been so popular that it is already a sell-out”.
DEFIBRILLATOR: Just a reminder that the village now has a defibrillator – a life-saving machine for use in case of a suspected heart attack. It is in the central porch outside the front of the village hall and the box in which it is stored is alarmed.
The machine will talk the user through the process of what to do.
To give you an idea of how easy it is to use, you can view a video on the village hall website.
GARDENING Club: Kelvin Mason was the speaker at the February meeting of the Gardening Club.
John says: “The talk was about vegetable growing and it was entertaining and informative.
“We had 27 members at the meeting and he gave us some useful tips. The next meeting is on March 18, when Peter Barwick will talk to the group on “Growing Soft Fruit”.
