FAIRTRADE fortnight: This week and next week, is Fairtrade Fortnight. On March 9, Sainsbury’s will be hosting a display of Fairtrade products and promotional material in the foyer.
Children from Silchester School will join members of Basingstoke and Deane Fairtrade group in distributing information and free samples.
The number of Fairtrade products in shops accelerate weekly, and they would like to involve you all in this worthwhile trend.
BLOOD Donor sessions: Are at AWE next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Even though it’s at AWE, it’s in an area open to the public. There is also a blood donation session at the community centre on March 13. To book an appointment, call 0300 123 2323 – please do your bit.
SIR George Young: Is holding an advice bureau in Kingsclere on Saturday, March 30, from 10am to 11am at the Village Club – this is open to all constituents of north Hampshire.
He will pleased to discuss any matters of concern with which he can help.
