CAFE Project Volunteer Open Day: The Café Project is having an open day for prospective volunteers on Saturday, March 2, from 10am to 2pm.

The open day is an opportunity to find out about the café, meet staff, students, existing volunteers and trustees, and hear about the wide range of volunteering opportunities which include marketing, website support, fundraising, and supporting students during their training.

It is also an opportunity to try the delicious refreshments.

If you are unable to make the open day but are interested finding out more, contact 01256 816375.

The café will be taking part in the Fair Trade fortnight, which runs from the February 25 to March 10. Fair Trade tea, coffee and hot chocolate are already used at the café, but during this fortnight extra Fair Trade goods will be on sale.

WOMEN’S World Day of Prayer Service: Will be held at Church of Christ the King, in Sullivan Road, on Friday, March 1, at 10am.
