CHINEHAM Library: Has not been redecorated for some years and is in need of repainting and upgraded lighting. It will therefore be closed from next Monday until Monday, April 1, for exactly this.
During the closure period, people are encouraged to instead visit Basingstoke Discovery Centre (open seven days a week) where they will be able to return items, collect requested books and choose from a larger selection of items.
Chineham Library will reopen at 9.30am on Tuesday, April 2.
AGM: The annual general meeting of the Chineham Village Hall management committee will be held in the Chineham Village Hall Committee Room at 8pm next Monday.
The meeting will receive the reports and accounts for the year ending December 31, 2012 and will elect up to 10 members for the committee of management.
Residents of Chineham who are aged 18 or over are entitled to attend the charity’s AGM and also to vote.
CHINEHAM Village Club: On Saturday, it’s Family Night, (disco and entertainment in the lounge bar) from 7pm.
