THIS weekend: St Mary’s flower arrangers coffee morning is on Saturday, in the Parish Room, from 10am to 11.30am, with raffle and bring-and-buy.
There is a barn dance at the village hall from 8pm to midnight on Saturday.
Tickets £8, from Pat on 478372.
Sunday brings a chance to stretch your legs along the Basing Trail with the sponsored walk for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Meet at the Millstone pub at noon.

ST MARY’S news: On March 1, The Women’s World Day of Prayer service begins at 10.30am, with The Reverend Alec Battey as the speaker. And at 9.30am, on March 2, those who fancy a spot of light exercise are invited to help with the annual spring cleaning session – please bring your own duster.
It’s also time to renew your membership on the church electoral roll, so do collect a form and return it before the annual parochial church meeting on March 31.
RBL Women’s Section: Are holding their annual tabletop sale on March 23. Do go along and suport them.
