LIVE music: With the support of Hog the Limelight, Cliddesden Village Hall plays host to The Moscow Drug Club this Saturday.
An evening of live music – jazz, cabaret and swing, starting at 8pm, with licensed bar. Tickets £7.50, from Angie on 475848.
VILLAGE Hall event: On Tuesday, Pots to Doodle Do will be setting up in the hall from 12.30pm to 4.30pm.
Come along (and bring the kids) to paint, chat, drink tea and eat cakes.
No entry fee, but prices start at £4.50 for tiles – loads of other options! Call Tracey on 07900 692858.
HEART-WARMING: To see so many villagers at the Civic Offices, voting for Cliddesden’s grant application to raise the height of the village hall stage. Well done, everyone – thanks to your efforts, we have a grant. The amount is to to be confirmed.
None of this would have happened, however, without the tireless efforts of our own Angie Fewster, who found out about the grant process, applied, hand-delivered the application to ensure it arrived before the deadline, and manned the stall for eight hours.
