BEGGARWOOD work party: Old Down and Beggarwood Wildlife Group has organised a work party for Beggarwood Park this coming Sunday. They will be meeting at the maze at 10am.
Anyone interested in coming along to help would be welcome. Please wear suitable warm and waterproof clothing and footwear. Gloves can be provided but please bring your own if you prefer.
WARREN Youth Wing Patio Project: The project, to raise funds to improve the patio area at the youth wing, was successful in its bid last week. Thank you to everyone whose votes helped to secure this. They now need help from the local community.
If you can offer a small amount of time as a volunteer gardener to assist with planting, or if you are handy enough to build benches, then please let the community office know. Please contact Clare on 811262 for further details.
CORRECTION: Please note that the Hatch Warren Over-50s meet at the Church Centre, St Mark’s School, Danebury Road, and not the community centre, as stated in last week’s column.
