FOUR Horseshoes: Is now under new management.
Local man Scott Miles, from Bow Drive, has taken over the management, and says: “Please look out for news of forthcoming events such as quiz nights and special evenings. Come on down and see what’s going on at the pub.”
SHERFIELD and District Gardening Club: The February meeting is on Monday, when Kelvin Mason will talk about “Vegetable Growing”.
Kelvin is a lecturer from Sparsholt College and secretary of the Hants Federation of Horticultural Societies.
Anyone interested in gardening is most welcome to join the club at the village hall, 7.45pm.
SWING band: 52 Skidoo, a three-piece 1920s Harlem swing band, will be at the village hall on Saturday, March 9. American-Italian style pizza and salads will be served. Tickets are £12.50, from 01256 880075, from tickets@sherfieldvillagehall.co.uk and The Shop.
