ROMAN Dig talk: Was held in the village hall, when Professor Michael Fulford spoke on the Roman dig findings. About 100 people came along. It was so popular that some even had to sit in the balcony!
QUIZ Night: On March 1, Silchester Association will be holding a Quiz Night at the village hall.
HEDGING and ditching: At the Mission Church on Saturday, at 9.30am.
Not a big job and not too long with a few helping hands.
Do please come along with tools and give a helping hand.
WOMEN’S World Day of Prayer: Will be held on Friday, March 1, at 2pm, at the United Reformed Church, in Tadley.
LOVE-LY day: I hope all my readers have a happy Valentine’s Day, and I shall be pleased to hear of any special happenings!
