MOTHERS’ Day: Immanuel Church will be holding a special service to celebrate Mothers’ Day on Sunday, March 10, in the Church Centre, St Mark's School, Danebury Road, 10am.
LAGER Festival: The community centre is planning the next very popular Lager Festival for June 15 this year.
OVER-50s Group: The next meeting of the over-50s group will be held at the community centre, today, from 10am until noon. There is always coffee, tea, biscuits, cake and lots of chat, and the newly retired, or those new to the area, are especially welcome.
Meetings can include a speaker, a quiz or games and there are also trips out to the theatre, garden centres etc. This month’s meeting features a speaker from the Blue Lamp Trust.
