Oakley

OAKLEY School parking: The parish council is asking parents to observe the restrictions of the yellow lines on Oakley Lane by the school.
Some are parking on these yellow lines and causing congestion on the road and reduced visibility for those crossing with the attendant. Please help by parking a little further away from the school to prevent any danger to pedestrians at these busy times.
MOBILE Library: The library is visiting Kennet Way on Monday, from 10.45am to 1pm.
LADIES Groups: There is a choice for ladies this coming week, if you would like to attend a group.
Oakley and Deane WI are meeting on Tuesday, at the Andover Road Village Hall, at 7.30pm. Jane Gates will be talking about Bluebells, the respite home in North Waltham, and all are welcome.
On the same evening, at 8pm, Oakley Ladies meeting is entitled ‘Name that Pong’ – how good is your sense of smell.
For more information on Oakley Ladies, call Linda on 780918 or Marlene on 780032.
