VILLAGE Lunch: Ladies wot lunch...and gents, of course, are welcome on the first Tuesday of every month, at the Coach and Horses for the Rotherwick Village lunch!
The February get-together falls today, courtesy of mine host Ian Trow, so do pop along after noon, for convivial company and a catch-up with the neighbours.
A STITCH in time: Or in Sue Whistler’s case, several thousand, were honoured by the Reverend Mary Ashton, when she recently blessed the beautiful tapestry kneeler Sue kindly made to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. There are already several examples of Sue’s needlework in the church and the colourful Jubilee kneeler is a stunning addition. Thank you, Sue, for the love and care you brought to every stitch.
PRAISE and Play: Takes place in Rotherwick church on the second Friday of every month, for under-fives and their grown-ups from 1.45pm to 3pm. Come along today, to chat and make new friends, enjoy singing, a Bible story and creative craft. See if you can find Sue’s new kneeler while you’re there!
