CHRISTMAS Services: At the Parish Church and the Methodist Church were well attended. The Parish Church special card, designed by Lucy Baker, raised almost £100 for the Winchester Nightshelter. Many thanks.
COMMONS working party: Today, 9.30am from The Calleva Arms. Come along and work off those excess calories!
SILCHESTER pantomime: Has the first night on January 25. Tickets are on sale from 0118 981 5600.
Hickory Dickory & the Super Bug will have four performances – the others are on January 26 and February 1 and 2.
Tickets for adults are £8, and for children and concessions are £6. Available from Beryl on 0118 981 5600.
ADVANCE notice: On Friday, February 8, Professor Michael Fulford will speak on the Roman Dig findings. This will be in the village hall.
