FIREWORKS Extravaganza: The annual Hatch Warren Fireworks display takes place this Saturday, at the community centre.
Gates open at 6pm and the display begins at 7.30pm.
There will be the usual attractions of children's rides, food and drink stalls and light ropes for sale.
Tickets are available from the community office, which will be open from 9am until noon, Thursday and Friday, and between 10am and 3pm on the day of the display.
PETS: Pet owners in the area are reminded to ensure that their pets are safely inside for the duration of the fireworks display.
The show is one of the best in the area, but it is very loud and pets will be happier indoors.
PLANNING application: The application for new fencing around the old surgery building in Moorhams Avenue which was due to be reviewed by the council's development control committee last week was withdrawn. The application to update the building by adding cladding was approved.
CHRISTMAS Fair: The community centre will be holding a Christmas Fair on the afternoon of Sunday, November 18.
