KEEP warm this winter: Renewable Energy and Community Heating (REACH) is a local cooperative formed to reduce heating costs for homeowners across Basingstoke.
Therefore, if you heat your home with electricity, oil, coal, or LPG, you may be able to obtain a grant of 40 per cent towards the cost of a new boiler via a collective bid for Government funds through REACH. If you are interested REACH is holding a drop-in presentation at Westside Community Centre on Friday, November 9, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
For further information, contact 614872.
INDOOR Car Boot Sale: After the success of this summer, a further indoor car boot sale will be held on Sunday, November 18, at Westside Community Centre, from 1pm to 4pm (sellers from 12.30pm).
A table costs £5, and refreshment will be available. Contact Nicky on 464571.
ST MICHAEL’S Hospice Shop: The hospice shop, in Kings Road, is currently seeking donations of DVDs and books, especially the ‘Mills and Boon’ variety to raise funds.
