PLANNING: Plans to change the fencing around the ex-surgery in Moorhams Avenue were due to be considered by the borough council's development control committee last night.

The building is due to open as a holistic health and beauty centre on November 5, following an open weekend on November 3 and 4.

HATCH Warren WI: Meets next Thursday, November 1, for its monthly meeting. The theme for the speaker will be ‘Harlots, Dung and Glory’, a discussion on Portsmouth from the Battle of Trafalgar to the present.

The meeting starts at 8pm at the community centre. New members and visitors are welcome.
