JUMBLE Sale: This Saturday, in the village hall, from 2pm to 4pm. Entrance only 20p. Lots of bargains, cakes and refreshments from the Womens’ Institute. Donations gratefully received in the outer hall in the morning.
FAMILY Service: On Sunday, Father Alec is holding the first family worship at St Mary’s Church, so do take this new opportunity to bring all your relations (both young and old) to a service with a difference.
OVER 55?: If so, you will be very welcome on Wednesdays at the RBL Hall, Crown Lane, between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
Conversation, games, refreshments, outings and a chance to make some new friends.
FORTHCOMING events: The Village Show AGM will be held on November 13, from 7.30pm in the Parish Room. New faces welcomed.
“The Pampered Chef” is visiting the Parish Room at 7.30pm on November 17 to oversee a cook-off between some of the culinary artistes amongst members of the Friends of St Mary’s.
December 1 brings a Reindeer Drive to the Methodist Church.
