STAY snug and safe: As the nights draw in, now is the time to get your trusty electric blanket checked for electrical faults that could cause a fire when you’re asleep!
A Hampshire County Council-approved engineer will be carrying out free checks at the Hook Community Centre next Wednesday, from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
It only takes a minute but please ring 01962 833358 to make an appointment.
OPEN all hours – well, not quite: Kevin Molloy and the Hook Post Office team have extended the opening hours on Lottery nights (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays) to 7.30pm for Lottery ticket sales and Post Office services.
These hours will be in effect on a trial basis until Christmas, so tell him if you like it!
