MONTHLY Market: Wolverton Village Hall holds its monthly market on Saturday, November 7, from 9.30 to 11am. There will be books, bric-a-brac, cakes, wool, homemade jams and chutneys, flowers and vegetables for sale and refreshments are available. FIREWORKS: The Baughurst Scout and Guide groups are holding their annual fireworks night on Saturday, November 7, from 6pm, at Adam’s Field, Baughurst. The bonfire will be lit at 6.45pm, and the fireworks will begin at 7pm.
Tickets are available now from Martin Jeffery on 0118 9817939, Tony Jeffery on 0118 9816731, or any Baughurst Scout and Guide group’s leaders. Tickets are £7 adults, £4 children and OAPs, and the advance price for a family ticket is £15 (£18 on the night).
