HOOK Choral – Autumn Concert on November 14, at 7.30pm in St John’s Church. Highlights include Stanford’s Three Motets and two works by the contemporary Latvian composer Eriks Esenvalds, with the Requiem by Fauré finishing off the evening. Tickets available from Trees or by calling 01256 882067.
HOOK Players: This year’s panto, Beauty and the Beast, will take place at the Elizabeth Hall. Saturday matinees, with a visit from Santa, are on November 28 and December 5 at 1.45pm, and evening performances are at 7.45pm on November 27, 28 and December 4 and 5.

HALLOWE’EN fun: A reminder of the free event at the community centre on November 30 from 11am to 4pm. As well as a room of games and quizzes there will be organised activities throughout the day.
