AGINCOURT revisited: On Sunday, from 10am, at the Recreation Ground, Old Basing archers will host a 600th anniversary shoot-out, so come along and watch the longbow arrows flying through the air, recreating a significant event in English history. Further information from oldbasingarchers.co.uk.

ALL Hallows Eve: Children and families are invited to a candlelit walk through the old churchyard and conservation area followed by a warm supper, so turn up by 6pm to St Mary’s Church on Saturday, October 31. The All Souls Day Eucharist commences at 7.30pm on November 2, preceded by refreshments from 7pm.
DIARY Date: A Christmas celebration with a difference at St Mary’s this year from December 11 to 13, which includes nativity scenes and Christmas cribs beautifully lit and displayed, along with other attractions.
