STAGE School: I was asked by Colin Flaherty, a highly-qualified drama teacher and supervisor, to visit Stage School on September 6, at the beginning of a new term.
After the holiday, young people from six to 16 years were back at Stage School, practising drama skills.
Sessions at Brighton Hill Community College begin at 10am on Saturdays.
When I arrived, students were practising in the theatre. They were developing group work, getting to know each other and preparing for a review on Saturday.
Mr Flaherty explained that at Central Studio, Queen Mary's College, a performance of Peter Pan is expected to take place in February.
Also available will be a visit to Queen Mary's Central Studio to see Puss in Boots.
A new Stage School class will be opening soon at Everest Community Centre, Popley, Basingstoke.
Examinations will be held at Richard Aldworth College covering acting, improvisation and musical productions.
