SUPPORTING hundreds of young people, parents and professionals each year, Young Peoples Independent Counselling is the leading youth counselling charity in Basingstoke.

It provides mental health and emotional support to young people aged 11 to 25-years-old and parents of all ages through a range of interventions including one-to-one counselling sessions, group work and psycho-educational activities.

Services include youth counselling, youth mentoring, family therapy, parent counselling, school and community work, and specialist sexual abuse counselling for young people.

The charity, formed in 1998, has pioneered a project to support young people aged from 11 to 19 who have been sexually abused. The evening starts with a runway show during which models will be wearing women’s clothes from High Street brands, which will be available to buy at prices at least 50 per cent lower than in shops.

Clothes will be available in sizes from six to 22 and the hotel is providing a private changing area to try before you buy.

There will also be a raffle during the evening while food and drink will be available to buy at the hotel.
