CONGRATULATIONS: Basingstoke College of Technology has two Macmillan Coffee Mornings today, one on each of its two concourses. For early birds the artisan coffee van kicks off at 8am, and business students are also baking for this great cause.
CLASSIC Style Gift Fair: Top of The Town Basingstoke has a classic style gift fair with entertainment today, from noon to 7pm.
The event promises gift stalls, street food, vintage motor vehicles and skiffle and jive bands. Special evening guests Top Banana from Brighton are performing from 4pm to 7pm.
CHARITY Auction: 11th St Michael’s Scout Group has a celebrity charity auction at St Michael’s Church Cottage at 2pm on October 3, with Zaira Sheikh, as previously seen on a well-known cracker advert! Entry is free.
The group welcomes donations of signed items, ornaments, vouchers, etc, from companies and individuals. Contact marty.scouts@gmail.com to help out.
