GREEN Week Activity in Chineham: This coming Sunday, from 10am to 1pm, Chineham Conservation volunteers, along with the Greening Chineham group, will work in Tollhouse Meadow stream clearing and litter picking. There will be pond dipping for children and a wildlife expert will be on hand to help identify the animals caught. Equipment provided. Further information available by calling 354840.
CHINEHAM Board Games Club: Meets on the second and last Saturday of the month for gaming at Christ Church, Reading Road. Sessions usually run 6pm–11pm.
The group is holding an open day from 3pm until 11pm on Saturday for people to drop in and see what they do.
LUNCHEON Club is being held at Christ Church next Tuesday, at noon. Everyone is welcome to join for a two-course lunch. The cost is £4 for adults, £2 for children.
There will be a service of Holy Communion at 11am on that day, so people are welcome to also participate in this celebration before the lunch.
