30-year labour of love up in smoke

THEY were his pride and joy that would get any car enthusiast’s heart racing.

Over 30 years Dennis Kirby spent endless hours lovingly restoring his treasured and extremely rare classic cars to their original condition.

But all that has gone up in flames after heartless arsonists destroyed the garage where he stored the six vintage vehicles.

Firefighters rushed to the scene after a neighbour woke up to see flames up to 20ft high raging from the garage block in Monks Way, Eastleigh, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Anyone with any information about the fire, which happened at 2.45am, should contact Eastleigh CID on 0845 045 45 45 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

What is the third picture? It's too small to be the garage and it's definately not a classic car! What's a caravan got to do with it?
