MEPC Chineham Business Park has donated 500 drinking glasses to Naomi House Children’s Hospice. The glasses were used in a photoshoot for promotional material when Computer 2000 moved to the business park.
Chineham Park managing director Rupert Batho wanted to find a way to put them to good use. He said: “Once the glasses had fulfilled their purpose, I knew that they should not just be thrown away. As we have supported Naomi House in the past, we made contact to see if they would be put to good use there.” Tina Starbuck, corporate fundraiser at Naomi House, in Sutton Scotney, said: “We are always grateful for donations like this as it means our resources can be put to better use. “The glasses are used regularly at the hospice and we are very thankful to Chineham Park for thinking of Naomi House. “We really appreciate the continuing support we receive from Rupert and his team.”
