THE Hampshire Court Hotel has been shortlisted for a Members’ Choice Health Club Award.
It is the only awards scheme in the industry where winners are selected by members.
Now in its second year, the awards scheme asks members to rate the quality of facilities, customer service and value for money provided by clubs in an online questionnaire.
More than 37,000 members voted in this year’s competition, which saw 12 out of 19 QHotels leisure clubs added to the shortlist.
The four-star hotel boasts five indoor and three outdoor French soft clay tennis courts, whilst its leisure club offers an adults only pool, a fun pool, exercise studio, a fully-equipped gym and five treatment rooms.
The hotel recently invested over £220,000 in a brand new eco-friendly gym, fully kitted out with Pulse equipment.
General manager Dan Kelly, said: “We are extremely proud of our extensive leisure facilities at the hotel so to be nominated for this prestigious award by our members is absolutely fantastic.
“To be one of 12 QHotels leisure clubs to be in the running is also testament to the exceptionally high standard of the group’s facilities.”
The award winners will be announced at a ceremony on Tuesday September 18, at the Hilton Metropole, Birmingham, as part of Leisure Industry Week 2012.
