THE relaunch of a networking group certainly went down a treat at Holiday Inn Basingstoke.
More than 35 local business people recently attended the relaunch of the Basingstoke Business Biscotti group, where they were treated to cake pops courtesy of Basingstoke-based Sugartown Cupcakes.
Behind the relaunch were the networking group’s ambassadors Rhea Jeffery and Tricia Smith-Hamblin, from Kicking K Design and Marketing, along with Carlie Cohen, of CopyWorks Communications.
Carlie said: “We had a fabulous turnout for our first event. It’s a great opportunity for businesses of all sizes to come together and to meet new suppliers.
“We’re looking forward to growing the group to meet the demands of the local business community. These free events are a great opportunity for local businesses to network, make contacts and forge business relationships in an informal environment.”
The group meets on the second Friday of each month at the hotel, in Grove Road, Basingstoke, from 10am to noon.
Carlie said there is no need to book as attendees can simply come along and buy themselves a cup of tea or coffee to support the venue.
