Firms join forces to sponsor award
8:29am Monday 16th July 2012 in Business By Richard Garfield
TWO Basingstoke businesses from the worlds of print and digital video have joined forces to support the INSPIRE12 Business Awards.
Minuteman Press and Video Productions are co-sponsoring the Excellence Online Award.
The category is one of 12 on offer at this year’s awards and is open to those that can demonstrate they have added value and have achieved success for their business or client through e-commerce, web design or digital marketing. The category is open to both businesses and e-business professionals.
It is the second year that Minuteman Press has sponsored this award.
Susan Patterson and Sean Millard, who run the franchise at The Beresford Centre, in Wade Road, missed last year’s because they were on a trip to South Africa.
But this year they plan to be at the gala event, which is set to take place on Thursday, November 15, at The Hampshire Court Hotel, in Chineham.
Praising the Destination Basingstoke team, who organise the event, Susan said: “I think the INSPIRE Business Awards are very professional and well run.
“We wanted to get involved with the awards again because local businesses support us, so obviously we are very keen to support them as well.”
David Gosley, who runs Video Productions, said: “We are sponsoring the Excellence Online Award because the online fraternity is where our business is and that is closest to our heart.
“And it has predominance in today’s lifestyle which can’t be ignored.”
Video Productions is also an event sponsor and Dave has already been filming video clips of sponsors and last year’s award winners, which will be shown on the night and on the event website.
