Beautiful views from Apsley
ENJOYING rolling views across countryside above the Bourne Valley will be the lucky lot of one successful auction bidder.
The views will be the outlook from a three bedroom cottage set in large gardens at Apsley close to Whitchurch, and the delightful villages of St Mary Bourne and Hurstbourne Priors, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There is quick access to mainline trains and the main roads network at Whitchurch.
The cottage has two ground floor reception rooms and a bathroom with shower and bath as well as the three bedrooms and a study upstairs.
The guide price is between £275,000 to £300,000.
The cottage is one of five properties that will be going under the hammer through Carter Jonas, on Wednesday June 27, starting at 6.30pm, at the Winchester Royal Hotel, in St Peter Street, Winchester.
A late addition to the auction catalogue is a former Methodist chapel in London Road, Whitchurch.
It has a main hall, meeting room, kitchenette, and cloakroom and could have development potential, subject to consents.
The guide price is £150,000 to £175,000.
Chris Gooch of Carter Jonas said: “The beauty of auctions is that you can get such an interesting mix of properties and the four we are presenting at the Winchester Royal Hotel prove the point.
“There’s something here for a variety of tastes and they will all tick lots of boxes for potential buyers.
“None of them may need potentially huge budgets to buy and form projects that could be ongoing.”
